Tsuyu cream pasta

Ingredients

  • 400g your favorite pasta
  • 150g button mushroom (brown or white)
  • 200g Bacon

For the sauce :

  • 130g sour cream
  • 90g heavy cream
  • 1 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 or 2 tbsp hon tsuyu soup base
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp parmesan
  • 1/3 tsp sea salt ( optional )
  • a small quantity of chopped scallion (optional)

Instructions

  • 1. Combine the sauce ingredients (except salt).
  • 2. Cook the pasta in a large saucepan of boiling water until al dente, probably a little bit less time than what packet instructions usually say. Meanwhile, place a frying pan over medium heat and put a little bit of oil. Add bacon and heat them until it is hot but not smoking.
  • 3. Add the cooked pasta, mushrooms and parmesan. And toss until well combined.
  • Sprinkle scallion chopped and serve immediately.
