Ingredients
- 130g edamame - shelled (or shelled frozen edamame) - boiled
- 3 cups uncooked rice (with a rice cooker’s cup)
- 3 cups water
- 4 garlic cloves - finely chopped
- 15g fresh ginger - finely chopped
- 1 tsp fine salt
- 4g powder hondashi/soup stock
Instructions
- 1. In a fry-pan, heat a little bit of oil. Fry the garlic and ginger until fragrant. Let cool down and set aside. Boil edamame lightly and drain. Set aside.
- 2. Put the washed rice in a rice cooker pot. Add the cooked garlic and ginger, salt, hondashi, then water.
- 3. Click to start!
- 4. Once the rice is cooked, let it steam for about 10 minutes. Add boiled edamame on the rice, fluff with a rice paddle gently.
- You can add some more salt to suit your taste.
- Serve hot!
