Almond tuiles recipe
Ingredients (about 30 tuiles for 6cm )
- Sliced almond : 60g
- Egg white : 40g
- Flour : 10g
- Melted butter : 20g
- Sugar = 45g
Preparation
Preheat oven to 160 C degree.
In a bowl whisk together egg white, flour, sugar and melted butter and then sliced almonds until combined well. Drop rounded teaspoons of the mixture evenly spaced out onto baking sheet, then using a small palette knife spread it thinly and evenly into discs about 5cm across.
Then bake the biscuits in the oven for 10-15 minutes (depending on your oven) or until they have turned a nice golden color. Put them out from the oven and cool them down before taking them off the baking sheet. [highlight]If you want to give them a curved shape[/highlight], working quickly, remove cookies, one at a time, from the baking sheet and drape over a rolling pin to create a curved shape.
