Ingredients
- 1 pack of orzo pasta (500g)
- 1 pack of button Mushroom (white or brown) - sliced
- 40g salted butter
For the seasoning :
- 5 cloves garlic, minced
- 40g pine nut 
- 100g spinach
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp sugar
- 50g any of grated cheese
- a dusting of pepper
For the garnish : if desired
- 50g grated parmesan cheese (optional)
- 40g pine nut (optional)
Instructions
- 1. Cook the orzo pasta in a large saucepan of boiling water until al dente, probably a little bit less time than what packet instructions usually say.
- 2. In a food processor, combine all seasoning ingredients, garlic, spinach, pine nuts, olive oil, soy sauce, garlic powder, grated cheese, sugar, pepper. Blent them until it forms a paste.
- 3. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium-low heat. Drain the pasta.
- 4. Add the orzo and spinach paste to the skillet and toss well to combine. Add sliced button mushroom. Season with salt and pepper if needed.
- Garnish with grated parmesan cheese and pine nut. Serve hot:)
