Ingredients
- 500g minced beef
- 2 tablespoon olive oil
- 3-5 garlic cloves, finely chopped
- 1 big size onion
- 1/2 zucchini (optional)
- 1 bay leaf
- 2 tablespoon Japanese cooking Sake ( or red wine )
- 1 chopped tomato can (400g)
- 2 tablespoon tomato puree
For the sauce :
- 3 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tablespoon ketchup
- 2 tablespoon soy sauce
- 2 teaspoon Paprika powder
- 2 teaspoon cumin powder
- 1/2 cane sugar
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon onion powder ( optional )
- a tiny amount of salt (if desired )
Topping
- Some of your favorite shredded cheese
- Shredded lettuce
- Cherry tomatoes
Instructions
- 1. Heat a sauce pan or skillet on medium heat with olive oil for a few minutes. Add garlic and cook till get brown. Add onion and fry onion until golden brown.
- 2. Add the minced beef. Stir-fry until the beef is no longer pink.
- 3. Add gradually all sauce ingredients. Stir them well.
- 4. Cook it with a lid for 30 mins - Stirring occasionally.
- 5. Place about 1 cup of rice on a plate then top with beef which you just made, followed by shredded lettuce, cherry tomatoes and your favorite shredded cheese!
- Serve with Chili!
- Note : You can also add Chili when you add it with other sauces.
