Ingredients
- 50g all-purpose flour (or 25g bread flour and 25g cake flour) - sifted
- 30g kinako (toasted soybean flour) - sifted
- 30g unsalted butter - at room temperature
- 25g brown sugar
- 20ml vanilla monin syrup
- 1 tbsp heavy cream
- a dash of salt
Instructions
- 1. Preheat oven to 180C degrees.
- 2. In a medium bowl, beat butter and brown sugar with an electric mixer on low speed. Mix in the vanilla monin syrup and heavy cream. Mix well.
- 3. Sift flour and kinako into the butter mixture and stir well with a spatula until it is well combined.
- 4. On a lightly floured surface, roll out the dough to about 0.5cm thickness. Cut out shapes using a cookie cutter and place them on the baking sheet you prepared.
- 5. Bake them for about 10 mins. Let the cookies cool down completely.
