Ingredients
- 200g bacon - chopped
- 2 garlic cloves - finely chopped
- 1 onion - chopped
- 1 pack button mushroom (10 pieces ) - sliced and cleaned
- 1 carrot - shredded
For the seasoning
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp cooking japanese sake
- 1 tbsp tsuyu
- 2 tsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- fine salt - to taste
- 3 cup uncle ben's long grain rice
Instructions
- 1. Combine rice and water (6 cups) in a medium saucepan. Bring to a boil and then reduce heat to medium-low). Simmer covered 10 minutes (as the packet instructions). Put it aside.
- 2. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium-low heat. Add chopped garlic and stir-fry until they turn a nice brown color. Add bacon, onion and carrot gradually and stir-fry until the vegetables become wilted.
- 3. Add cooked rice, button mushroom and all seasoning ingredients into the skillet and continue cooking for about 3 mins, stirring occasionally or until heated through.
- Serve hot
