Easy fried rice

Ingredients

  • 200g bacon - chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves - finely chopped
  • 1 onion - chopped
  • 1 pack button mushroom (10 pieces ) - sliced and cleaned
  • 1 carrot - shredded

For the seasoning

  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp cooking japanese sake
  • 1 tbsp tsuyu
  • 2 tsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • fine salt - to taste
  • 3 cup uncle ben's long grain rice

Instructions

  • 1. Combine rice and water (6 cups) in a medium saucepan. Bring to a boil and then reduce heat to medium-low). Simmer covered 10 minutes (as the packet instructions). Put it aside.
  • 2. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium-low heat. Add chopped garlic and stir-fry until they turn a nice brown color. Add bacon, onion and carrot gradually and stir-fry until the vegetables become wilted.
  • 3. Add cooked rice, button mushroom and all seasoning ingredients into the skillet and continue cooking for about 3 mins, stirring occasionally or until heated through.
  • Serve hot
