Vegetable keema curry

Ingredients

  • 500g minced beef
  • 3 garlic cloves - finely chopped
  • 20g fresh ginger - finely choped
  • 1 carrot - finely chopped
  • 1 onion - finely chopped

For the seasoning A

  • 1/2 tbsp garlic powder
  • 6 cardamom pod - precut
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon powder
  • 1 tsp coriander powder

For the seasoning B

  • 2 tbsp tomato puree
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tsp curry powder
  • 1 tsp sea salt

For the seasoning C

  • 1/2 tbsp paprika powder
  • 1 tsp garam masala

Instructions

  • 1. In a fry pan, heat 1 tbsp vegetable oil over medium heat and then add all the seasoning A. Fry them until they are fragrant. Transfer to the plate and set aside until use.
  • 2. Add 1 tbsp vegetable oil in the fry pan, and fry garlic and ginger until aromatic. Add the minced beef and stir-fry until no longer pink. Add carrot, onion and fry them well stirring constantly.
  • 3. Combine the seasoning A (which you made in #1) with the meat mixture.
  • 4. Add the seasoning B in it and fry them well to combine evenly.
  • 5. Finally add paprika powder and garam masala. Stir well to combine well.
  • Serve hot with hot rice or popover!
