Banana pan cake

Ingredients

  • 2 or 3 bananas - cut into sliced
  • 1 egg
  • 100g cake flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 60g sugar
  • 25g butter
  • 100ml milk
  • a dash of salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tbsp honey

Instructions

  • 1. In a medium bowl, add egg, sugar and mix well using a cooking whisk.
  • 2. Mix vanilla and honey into the egg mixture to combine evenly.
  • 3. Add sifted flour, baking powder, salt and mix well. Then pour milk and mix well until smooth.
  • 4. Add melted butter and whisk them lightly with a cooking whisk.
  • 5. Heat the fry pan with extra butter (1/2 tbsp ) over low heat, add banana and cook them until soft or lightly brown.
  • 6. Pour the batter onto the baked bananas. Cook for about 2 mins over medium heat with care not to scorch.
  • 7. Flip the banana pan cake using another fry pan and cook the other side for about 3 mins or until they are lightly brown.
  • 8. Cut to square pieces to serve.
