Ebimayo – Mayonnaise shrimp

Prep Time: 30 minutes

Cook Time: 15 minutes

Total Time: 45 minutes

Ebimayo – Mayonnaise shrimp

Ingredients

  • 250g raw prawns
  • 1 tbsp coooking sake
  • 1/4 tsp salt

  • 2 tbsp katakuriko / potato starch
  • 3 garlic cloves - finely chopped

    For the seasoning
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 1/2 tsp soy sauce

  • 30g scallion - finely chopped

Instructions

  • 1. In a small bowl, marinate shrimps, cooking sake and salt for about 30 mins. Set aside.
  • 2. Add katakuriko into shrimps and mix well.
  • 3. In a small cup, add all the seasoning ingredients and mix well. Set aside.
  • 4. In a fry pan, heat 1 tbsp vegetable oil and then fry garlic until they are fragrant. Add shrimps and cook until no longer pink. Add the mixed seasoning sauce and cook to combine evenly.
  • 5. Sprinkle scallions onto shrimps and gently fry for about 1 mins.
  • Serve hot.
