Ingredients
- 3 potatoes (700g) - peel and cut to the proper size

- 30g butter
- 1 tsp fine salt
- 1 tsp honey
- 3 tbsp heavy cream
- 50ml milk (hot)
- a dash of pepper
- 50g grated cheese
- -B-
- 1 onion - finely chopped
- 1 carrot - finely chopped
- 500g ground beef or ground lamb
- 5 garlic - finely chopped
- 2 stick celery - finely chopped
- -C-
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 bay leaves
- 1 can diced tomatoes
- 1 tsp krazy salt or fine salt
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 3 tbsp ketchup
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp nutmeg powder
- 1 beef bouillon cube (10g)
- 1 tbsp worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp herbes de provence
Instructions
- 1. Boil potatoes in a pot until they are tender and mash them until no lumps remain. Add the all ingredients "A" and mix well. Set aside.
- 2. In a cooking pot, fry garlic until fragrant and add vegetables (B), onion, carrot, celery. Fry the vegetable until they become wilted. Add ground beef / lamb and continue stir frying until no longer pink.
- 3. Add tomato from a chopped tomato can and the ingredients "C". Bring it to a boil over medium high heat. Reduce the heat to low. Uncover and simmer for about 40 mins. Transfer the meat sauce into a baking dish (casserole) and sprinkle grated cheese over the sauce. Spoon the mashed potato over the meat filling.
- 4. Pre-heat the oven to 190C degree.
- 5. Bake for about 30 minutes or until lightly browned.
- Serve hot!
