Carrot burgers

Ingredients

  • 300g carrots - finely chopped
  • 120g ham - finely chopped
  • 3 garlic cloves - finely chopped
  • 60g shredded cheese
  • 60g panko/bread crumb
  • 50ml milk
  • 1 egg

For the seasoning:

  • 5 tbsp corn starch
  • 1/4 tsp fine salt
  • 1 tsp thai sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tsp thai seasoning sauce
  • 1/2 tsp thai fish sauce
  • 1 tsp soy beans paste
  • 1 tsp garlic powder

Instructions

  • 1. In a medium bowl, add carrot, ham, garlic and cheese. Mix them to combine evenly.
  • 2. In a separate small bowl, soak panko/bread crumb in milk (50ml).
  • 3. Add egg and soaked panko into carrot mixture and mix.
  • 4. Add all the seasoning ingredient and mix well.
  • 5. Shape the mixture into desired shape and size and place it on the skillet over low-medium heat. Cook both sides until lightly browned. Turn the patty gently after you cook well as the mixture is very soft.
  • 6. Serve hot!
