Roasted pepper sauce for pasta

Roasted pepper sauce for pasta

Ingredients

  • 2 garlic cloves - chopped
  • 2 orange or yellow bell pepper - cut in chunks (to fit your food processor)
  • 1 green bell pepper - cut as well
  • 1 onion - cut as well
  • 200g bacon
  • - Ingredient A for the seasoning -
  • 30g butter
  • 1 tsp kosher salt
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp jam
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 diced tomato can (400g)

Instructions

  • 1. Heat the olive oil (1 tbsp) in a frying pan over medium heat and fry garlic until fragrant. Add bacon, onion, peppers and cook until wilted.
  • 2. Let them cool down to room temperature.
  • 3. Then blend or process in a food processor until just chunky.
  • 4. Return to a frying pan and stir lightly while you with add the tomato can and all ingredients A to season. Toss to coat. Simmer for about 5 mins.
  • 5. Serve with the cooked pasta!
  • Serve hot with spaghetti!
