Ingredients
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 500g minced beef
- 5 garlic cloves - finely chopped
- 1 onion - finely chopped
- 300g - celery - finely chopped
- 3 or 60g brown mushroom - finely chopped
- -Ingredients A for the seasoning-
- 1 canned tomato - 400ml
- 1 tomato paste can - 170g
- 1 beef stock cube - 9g
- 2 tbsp ketchup
- 2 bay leaves
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp worcester sauce
- 1 tbsp strawberry jam
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
Instructions
- 1. Heat the olive oil (1 tbsp) in a frying pan over medium heat and fry garlic until fragrant. Add onion, celery and cook until the onion is wilted. Add mushroom, minced beef, and continue stir frying till no longer pink.
- 2. Add all "A" ingredients and stir the sauce constantly till it comes to a boil. Then reduce the heat to low, simmer for about 30 to 40 mins with a lid.
- Serve hot with spaghetti!
