- 120g kanikama/crab stick - finely chopped
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 20g leek - finely chopped
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1 garlic clove - finely chopped
- 2 tbsp white sesame
- 10g brown sugar
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 nori / seaweed - cut into small pieces with scissors|
Instructions
- 1. In a frying pan, heat the sesame (1 tsp) oil over medium-low heat, fry kanikama (crab stick) and leek until crisply, but not burned (about 20 min).
- 2. In an another frying pan, heat the sesame oil (1 tsp) over medium-low heat, add the garlic and fry until fragrant. Then add the sesame, sugar and soy sauce. Saute for another 1 to 2 mins.
- 3. Mix the kanikama mixture (from #1) and the seasoning (from #2) to combine evenly.
- 4. Add nori and mix. Transfer to a jar with a tight fitting lid.
- Serve over warm rice!
