Ingredients
- 200g leek (mainly green parts if you have) - chopped roughly
- 25g fresh ginger - sliced
- 4 garlic cloves (about 25g) - sliced
- 1 dried chili - optional
- 200ml vegetable oil
Instructions
- 1. In a wok, heat 1 tbsp vegetable oil and fry garlic and ginger until fragrant. Add leeks, dried chili (optional) and fry until wilted.
- 2. Add oil and bring to a boil. Simmer for about 30 mins. Transfer and strain the leek oil into a jar through a strainer. The remained leek can use for fried-rice!
- Keep it in a jar in refrigerator until ready to use.
- Note : This oil is great to use for ramen, gyoza, fried-rice or something else to your own taste.
