Breaded Minced Pork Menchi Katsu

Breaded Minced Pork Menchi Katsu

Ingredients

  • 60g onion
  • 150g ground pork
  • 1/2 egg
  • a dash of kosher salt
  • 20g breadcrumb
  • 50g cabbage
  • the other 1/2 egg mixed to 2 tbsp milk

Instructions

  • 1. In a cooking bowl, add ground pork, egg, a dash of pepper and salt, Knead well. then add onion, cabbage, bread crumbs, knead again well by hand.
  • 2. Make 2 balls, coat meat balls with flour lightly (all around).
  • 3. Drop in egg and coat with bread crumbs.
  • 4. Heat oil, once it's hot, put the croquettes gently. Cook about 1 min on medium heat, flip once. Cook about 1 min on medium heat.
  • 5. Then turn and cook on low heat until cooked through.
  • 6. Enjoy it while it's warm :)
