Try to make Croissants!

There was rain in Tokyo this morning, so I tried to make croissants which takes a long time to prepare. As I made them for the first time, the shape are not good….but they taste very good:)
I will serve them for the boy’s breakfast tomorrow.

New tea pot “Nambu ironware”

I received the new tea pot “Nanbu Tetsubin”. I chose this bronzed color for tea pot and white for the mat. This pot looks very popular in Europe now and there are many other colors to choose from. I hesitated mostly between white and pink. But all of them are soooo cute:)

Test making for pumpkin pants

Now I’m testing to make pumpkin pants.
Those sample are made using sheeting fabric.  These pants are very useful as they can be worn under a skirt or a dress. Also you can use it as a usual pair of trousers:)

Fabric in Nippori

It’s a very beautiful day today in Tokyo:) That’s why I tried to go out! Then I went to Nippori to see fabric.
There were many kinds of fabric and it was very difficult to choose. Anyway I got some to make trousers for my son and maybe a dress with flower cotton linen. From the top rib knit in beige, cotton check, cotton flower and cotton knit.

Sakura at Ueno Park – The cherry trees

We went to the Ueno Zoo today as the weather was beautiful after a run of bad weather! To my surprise, some of the cherry blossoms are blooming beautifully already.
The cherry blossomes may be at their peak very soon!!
